“Underscribble,” created in 2006, is a collaboration between Jonah and video artist Michael Cole. Jonah animated, choreographed, and performed the movement through the use of DanceForms 1.0, a 3D animation program.

The work addresses the erasure of the moving human body, and the trace of its presence. As the moving human body is plotted in the built domain of technology, the performer expands the material from digital software into a three-dimensional solo in real time, situating the performers' moving bodies in opposition to the animated double.
