This issue invited legendary New York City Ballet soloist Tom Gold to perform the poetry of author Charles Simic. We paired Gold with four photographers—Christian Witkin, Barbel Schmidt, Jens Umbach, and Phil Toledano—to create a portfolio of richly visualized poems. The result is a portfolio of individual booklets that respond to Simic’s poems.
